The most common misconception is that Animal Flow® is about acting like animals. The overall goal of the system is to improve the connection, communication and function of the human animal. When a person’s hands and feet are in contact with the ground, discovering new motor tasks, their attention is immediately directed inward to their body.
Creator Mike Fitch designed Animal Flow® as a way to fill in the gaps in one’s training. It can make the soccer player stronger and more coordinated, the yogi more dynamic with speed and power, and the weightlifter more pliable with mobility and flexibility. It’s a program that’s easily digestible and applicable to the average person’s fitness training.
“Animal Flow® is a versatile practice that can be used however it best serves you,” says Fitch.
The human body is an adaptation machine. It can recover from or adjust easily to change and is constantly figuring out ways to become more efficient at any consistent task. Animal Flow® is advantageous for the body’s resilience as it imposes variable and novel loads in a quadrupedal position, encouraging all tissues to withstand stressors, bounce back and perform longer.
Amin, our certified personal trainer and movement coach, is at present the only Animal Flow® Level 1 Certified Instructor in Saskatchewan. Amin’s background in breakdancing, functional fitness and personal training drew him to this engaging and creative dynamic movement practice. He loves to share it with others and always brings the Animal Flow® pillar of Community into his teaching: He creates a supportive space where everyone can feel safe to learn and move towards a better understanding of their bodies.

Private Sessions
Book holistic personal training sessions where you’ll be coached in this movement art at your own pace and with modifications suited for your body and fitness level. Private sessions take place in our boutique home studio or online.
Semi-private personal training (up to 2 people) in Animal Flow® is available at a discounted rate in our home studio. We can also organize larger group workouts at a location of your choice and training outdoors (weather permitting).
